If you live in California (CCPA/CPRA), or in another US state with a comprehensive privacy law, you can require that your personal information not be sold or shared for cross-context behavioural advertising. This page sets out how to exercise that right with Glowinlayers.
What Triggers This Right
- No money changes hands for your data. The relevant practice is this: where advertising runs, ad partners may receive cookie or device identifiers associated with your browser. Because ‘sale’ and ‘sharing’ are defined broadly in these statutes, that may qualify — so we offer the opt-out regardless.
- No prior relationship with Glowinlayers is needed — the right belongs to every visitor to glowinlayers.com.
The Practical Result
Expect generic advertising rather than none. The sharing stops immediately; the ad slots may remain. Access, content and functionality on glowinlayers.com are identical whether or not you have opted out.
Submitting an Opt-Out
You can opt out by enabling a Global Privacy Control signal in your browser, which this site honours automatically without any message from you; by declining advertising cookies in the consent banner where it appears; or by emailing hello@glowinlayers.com under the subject ‘Do Not Sell or Share’. None of these routes requires you to register.
The State Privacy Notice sets out every right these statutes provide, not just this one.
